#16 Impedimenta – Racing for Relays

It was a beautiful day outside upon the Grounds of Hogwarts. Each student lined each row within the stadium and waited for the competitors to take their place. Hermione sat on the edge of her seat with a firm grip of Ron’s shoulders. On the other sat Professor McGonagall. All cheered for Gryffindor.

“On your mark….Get set…..”

*BANG*

The shots were fired and each competitor took off running the length of the field.

“Run Harry Run!” Hermione shouted as Ron looked back at her.

“You act as if he is Forest Gump or something.”

“Oh hush up, Ron!” McGonagall hissed as she placed her hands together and stood up. “He’s about to make the pass. OH! GO HARRY!”

Harry reached out his hand to pass the baton off to the next person. Gryffindor was in an impressive lead and now the next person stepped up and took the baton from Harry’s grip.

Everyone gasped, hoping that Dumbledore did not drop it as he did in practice.

“Impedimenta!”

Dumbledore began to run in slow motion while Chariots of Fire played in the background, which in turn was McGonagall’s favorite movie. “I love that song!” she sighed.
