Ronald Weasley Drabble Fics – Number 26:

“Quill”

Ron took out his quill and ink and sat down, ready to get to work. He dipped the quill in his ink bottle and ran it along his parchment.

Nothing.

Looking at his quill and then the blank paper, and tried again.

Still nothing.

Slightly frustrated, Ron dipped the quill again, but it still wouldn’t write. He checked the bottom of the quill, he checked the parchment, he checked the ink, but nothing seemed wrong. Ron put the quill to his paper again, this time squeezing the sides slightly.

Suddenly the quill exploded, covering Ron with ink and feathers.

“Bugger.”
