“Hoot”

“Hey boys,” Hermione greeted her friends as she found them in the common room.. “What’s new?”

Ron kept his mouth determinedly shut – Hermione eyed him worriedly and turned to Harry. “What’s with him?” she asked.

“Just show her,” Harry encouraged Ron.

“Fine – HOOT!” As soon as Ron had opened his mouth to speak, he let out a giant hoot, like an owl.

Harry shook with laughter; Hermione continued to look confused. “I don’t understand…”

“The twins got him to try their new Hooting Hamburger Treats…and now he can’t stop-“

“HOOT!”

“…that!” Harry finished, almost giggling.

“S’not – HOOT! – funny…” sighed Ron.
