I don't think anyone got in trouble or had points deducted when they went to the kitchen (except house-elves being cranky about it). But the only points that where deducted at the kitchens was by Professor craft because a gryffindor (Lua) & Ravenclaw (sol) Elf-napped Algamus the head house elf.
