Joanna walked into the library and saw the club.
"Hello all, I'm Joanna Matthews. I recently read a book called October Sky about a young Homer Hickam (author) who lives in Coalwood, West Virgina, USA, a town used for the sole purpose of mining. He and friends have no way out of being miners like their fathers and grandfathers, until the launch of Sputnik, the Russian spacecraft, encouging them to be astronauts and start the Rockey Boys (the book's oringinal title). It's a wonderful true story of growing up and achieving goals. I recommend it to anyone."
Joanna paused nervously looking at the faces of the people around her.
"Meghan, I've read To Kill A Mockingbird. What's your favorite part?"
Joanna finished, contemplating what just happened.
