Personality: likes so many random things that seem impossible to be liked by just one person (look at the career choice, for example); a very sociable artist; deeply fascinated by the dark arts; quite bizzare (but not as much as luna lovegood..); very participative in classes even if she doesn't really know answers to the teachers' questions; happy-go-lucky, flexible, and laid-back; isn't very concerned with things that don't affect her directly
History: Yuri was born on the fourth of july (whatever year..) in venice, italy. her father is an italian vampire who used to be a death eater. no one really knows where he is now, or even if he's dead or still alive. her mother is a pure-blood british witch who supported Voldemort in his days, though she was never a death eater herself. when Yuri was born at exactly 1024am, her father wasn't around anymore. her mother screamed not of pain but of hatred, realising that she didn't want to have a baby anymore, especially now that her husband left her. so right after the birth, she left the baby alone in the house. after a couple of weeks, muggles in nearby houses found her unusually healthy. two french muggles took care of Yuri, unaware of her powers until a note from a wizarding school in england was sent. and the rest...blah. oh, and since she turned 13, she didn't go back to her "parents'" house anymore. she prefered to live alone in hogsmeade.
