“You know I heard from Dumbledore today about some interesting things happening in the castle today.” Ottery said Looking at Lissy, Lady V, Candy and Shannon, none of whom would meet his eyes.
“Really?” Shannon asked squeaking a bit.
“Yes, he told me how Harry Potter is safe, How Jack Snow is innocent, and how Lissy, Candy and Shannon, all came to his office today. And two of them had other students with them.”
“Hmm interesting.” Lissy said, As she, Shannon, candy, and Lady V were all busy looking at their nails.
“Yeah he also told me that those two students were unconscious and didn’t come in on their own power.” Ottery said looking amused
“Wow. Who knew?” Candy said in a high voice
“You guys wouldn’t know anything about this would you?” Ottery said as he looked straight at Lady V who had her head bowed and was intent on examining her robe.
“Know anything about what?” Shannon asked in an over bright voice
“Will someone tell me what is going on here?” Ottery asked loudly “Or I will sic teddy on you! And let me warn you he is not afraid to kill people.”
“Well you see..”
“Princess Thea was...”
“We couldn’t let her...”
“What could we do?” Said four voices at once
“HOLD IT!!” Ottery yelled “One at a time! Lady V you go first.”
“Well you see we saw Princess Thea when she was crying to you and we decided to help things along. We knew Jack couldn’t be bad so we followed some other people around to see if they might be the one to hurt Harry Potter.” Lady V explained
“I see and why didn’t you tell me?” Ottery asked looking a bit miffed
“Well we thought we would tell you after we found out who the real spy was.” Shannon added
“Well did you find out?” Ottery asked
“Well no, Dumbledore said that Harry was safe, so we let them go.” Lissy answered
“Well, Harry is thought to be safe yes. But there is also a rumor going around the Princess Thea is not.” Ottery stated
“Princess Thea? Who would want to hurt Princess Thea?” Candy asked
“We don’t know, but for now we have to keep this quiet. And I want you guys to continue to look after the people you were watching. Also keep an eye on Princess Thea especially with the ball coming up in a few days.” Ottery said as he got up and headed over to the door. “Meeting is adjourned! Come one Teddy let’s go see what Ron is up to!” Ottery grinned and walked out the door Teddy close at his heels.
Lissy, Lady V, Shannon and Candy just sat there looking at each other with stunned looks on their faces.
After Quidditch Practice Princess Thea walked Jack and Harry back to the Gryffindor common room. On the way there she ran into Draco who was searching the halls frantically.
“Princess Thea?” Draco asked running up to her
“Yes Draco?”
“Have you seen Si anywhere? She said she was going for a walk and that was over 2 hours ago.” Draco asked a bit panicked
“I’m sorry Draco, I haven’t seen her.” Princess Thea said crossing her fingers behind her back. If Draco found out that she had lied to him.. Yeah it could be curtains.
“Well if you see her , tell her to come and find me.” Draco said as he wandered off down the hall. Princess Thea turned around to see Si come out from behind a door “Thanks Princess Thea for not telling him where I was.” She said as she ran off in the opposite direction as Draco.
“What was that about?” Jack asked as Princess Thea came back to him and Harry.
“Well either my death sentence, or nothing.” She replied
“What?” Harry asked
“Nothing, nothing, now come on we have to get to bed we have a long day tomorrow!!” Princess Thea said as she ushered them in to the common room.
