Jessica scribbled down some more notes. She stared hard at her medium-sized, slanting join-hand writing. Then she peered at her book. Taking out a small circular white box from her bag, she opened it and quickly wore her lenses before anyone could see properly. However, she had the suspicion that some of the class had seen her wearing them. She read over her notes once more and then placed her lenses back in her bag. She hardly had trouble reading, only sometimes. They came in handy....

She paid all her attention to the teacher once more, correcting a few spelling errors in her note and then scribbling down some more points.
