"Oh..." Jakob said, looking at her with surprise. "Erm...thank you?" he softly joked, pondering whether he had been a jerk or not. He may have, but at least he was a jerk alongside Orion. Again, the thought beseeched him to focus on their task in-hand.
"Well, we most certainly need some means of transportation, but... I don't think I have any money on me." he spoke, searching his pockets, who were now miraculously empty.
