After listening to Christy's answer Caleb proceeds, "Democracy is a form of government where different voices are heard. They may be heard as individuals, in a direct democracy, where everyone may vote. They may be heard through representatives, as in the example of America, which has a Representative Democracy. The issues are raised through individuals elected to represent their constitiuents. In democracies, the emphaisis is, as Christy said, on the individual, not the government." Caleb finished and wiated to see if anyone else would answer. |
