Ana looked up from her desk at the flap of wings. The owl settled in front of her, and she tossed the creature a treat as she took the bit of parchment. It was her sister's family owl, which wasn't unusual. What WAS unusual was that the note was in her brother-in-law's handwriting. Ana read it and rose to her feet. The owl flapped in protest, but Ana ignored it and quickly exited her office. She was heading to find Enora, intent on sharing her information.
