Jaren shook his head, though seeing Nadia struggle with the goblin (who spoke no English by the look of it) decided to step in said something to the goblin in fairly rapid French. The goblin raised an eyebrow and retorted something that may very well have been "well why didn't you say that before?!" before pointing them down a more specific route.

"He says down this way," Jaren translated, turning to look at Nadia before leading her along, but not after muttering "Merci" to the goblin and nodding shortly to it.
