Hubert's (Professor Airlia's house elf) ownership has just been transferred to Berty Borr. Airlia was ordered a few days ago (a day ago or so, RP time) to have Hubert clean out Berty's office. Hubert did a terrific job but, he also played a few pranks, including over-waxing the floors, leaving the sneezing flower on the desk, and enchanting his quills, ink, and parchment. Berty was bound and determined to punish the elf and contacted his friends in the Dept. for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures to transfer ownership so he could do as he pleased with the elf.

The transfer of ownership scene started with post #123 on page 5 in the Main Room.
