"Oh," said Birdy, a little shocked but pleased at the Professor's offer, "That would be great if you could fix my hair. Thank you...very much.," she added, as to be polite, "And I'll try my best to be patient and friendly with the ministry officials, even though they don't find it common courtesy to treat me the same..." she noted, sourly, "But I'll be good, promise." She brought her hand up in a mock salute, giggling, "And I'll of course tell you if anything odd comes up."
Birdy rose from her chair and went to the door. "Good day," she said, sweetly, then left the room.
