Attention all Staff members:
It has come to my attention that Miss Nora Leiden has enacted Clause 124 of the Hogwarts Charter. This particular clause allows her to make “changes” to the Staff at her discretion. I have also been informed that several of my Staff have been asked to step down from their current teaching positions until this inquiry has been resolved.
Please do as Miss Lieden has requested. I have made it perfectly clear that no one on my Staff has betrayed Hogwarts in any way possible and that removal of certain Staff members is unadvised. Miss Leiden sees otherwise.
All Staff members that have been asked to step down are welcome to stay in the castle until this has been resolved and should not leave unless notified by me personally. I am within my rights as Headmaster to grant sanctuary to whomever I deem during an inquiry like this (Clause 211 of the Hogwarts Charter).
You are allowed full access to all parts of the castle, minus your classrooms; however it might be better if you restrict your movements to your offices and the Staff chambers. I regret that it has come to this and expect this to all blow over very quickly.
