Kimothée Chalamet • The UWU Agenda • Once Baby, Now Trouble • All Growed Up Bisan Helena had likely talked her tutor's ear off when it came to all her queries on wandlore, the wand fitting process, and the best kinds of wood and core pairings possible. She would like to have only the best one available to her. Suppose, if her first wand wasn't that nice, she could always get a second some other time. But you only experience your first wand fitting once in a lifetime, and she needed the moment to count.
As she entered the shop, the eleven-year-old found herself wanting to go straight for the wand displays and looking through each of them. Perhaps admiring the craftsmanship, perhaps testing which wand looked the prettiest. Although Bisan aimed to be as behaved and as sophisticated as she can be, there was always the innate childish urge to grab a couple and play with them. Hold as many as she could with one hand and wave all of them at the same time. Or use them as drumsticks. Or build a stick tent thing.
It will stay an urge. Tempting, but no.
And how many more measurements did the tape need? Bisan had been briefed about the procedure prior to this, of course. She just did not want to make it known to everyone that all the measuring was tickling her a bit.
