If there was a garden, you could bet that you would find Aurora in it.
The memorial garden was the perfect tribute, she thought. And it was a lovely place to walk and be in nature while remembering those who had died in the third wizarding war. This place was very peaceful, and ambrosial. It would be lovely to spend a while here quietly and maybe draw. Or just read a book. Even sitting there and doing nothing at all was nice.
As she reached the phoenix statue, she paused for a moment, as she always did. It really was the perfect focal point, and she loved the symbolism of it all.
Clearly she hadn't been the only one who had decided to spend some time here. Aurora grinned as she spotted Iris, and made her way over to her friend. It seemed that she was enjoying some time writing in her journal, and hopefully she wouldn't mind some company.
"Hi, Iris," she said softly, so as to hopefully not startle the other girl. Besides, this was a peaceful place. One should be quiet here. |
