Aurora nodded as Barty cautioned Cat. He was right. As much fun as it was to explore, it was important to make sure that you didn't do anything dangerous in the process. It really wasn't worth anything that could go wrong.
BEAM. "Awesome! Just let me know whenever you want to. We could even do some exploring on the weekend of you want." And maybe they would find some new secrets, because Aurora wasn't too sure that there weren't ones that were left to be found. Maybe they would get lucky. And if not, they'd still be having fun.
As she thought, she listened to Cat tell her story to Barty. It certainly could be very... interesting talking to the portraits. She thought that maybe it was time for her to see if any of them would like to converse with her again; it had been a while since the last time.
"That's just like Ariel." She didn't think Barty knew who that was, and she wasn't sure if Cat did or not, but it was true. She knew all about The Little Mermaid because her mom loved that movie. Her middle name was even Ariel because of it. "If only I could use the bubble-head charm or something." She sighed, knowing that she would get into trouble if she tried.
Oh well.
At least Barty got to enjoy seeing it, which was nice. "Oh, yes! I've even made some crow friends because Bria showed me how to approach them." Aurora made sure to remember all of the rules. "And I would be happy to be your friend too," she added. She hoped that he would want that as well. She enjoyed talking to Barty. |
