Idris wanted to do something special for Paul. He had spoken to Paul’s Uncle TJ and had gotten what he wanted. With the help of Mama Bea, Idris had worked hard in secret. He cut, arranged and glued. Bea assisted, ensuring the arrangement would fit perfectly.
“Do you think he’ll like it, Mama?”
“Oh, baby. He will. It’s a thoughtful gift.”
Id presented Paul with the silver framed collage, filled with photos of Paul and his mothers together in each. “They’re always with you, Paully.”
