Welcome to the Wardrobe Workshop
Welcome to The Wardrobe Workshop: Gladrags’ hub for all things graphics, requests, and signature styling. This is where anyone can open request shops, request custom graphics, and moderators can help with signature changes and updates. Essentially this is your go-to place in the Gladrags forum to tailor, refine, and polish your look before stepping out onto the rest of the site.
Whether you’re a graphic maker setting up shop, a member looking for a new avatar or signature, or someone in need of a quick signature swap or resize, you’re in the right place. WORKSHOP FEATURES: GRAPHIC MAKERS: To ensure Gladrags remains a welcoming and inspiring creative space for all, we have a few guidelines in place to help things run smoothly. - All SS Board Rules and Gladrags rules apply. We especially encourage you to review the graphics-specific rules, along with those covering harassment, plagiarism, AI use, and spamming, to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Please also note that Gladrags is a moderated forum, so all threads will be reviewed and approved by a moderator before appearing publicly. Thank you for your patience and understanding while this process takes place!
CREATING A THREAD: Locate the at the bottom of the forum page and give that a click. You will be brought to a new page with a blank text field where you can submit the first post of your thread. Please make sure to include the following: - A title! This can be whatever you’d like it to be.
- A prefix! Please use the appropriate prefix for your thread (Graphic Requests) There is a drop down menu beside the "Title" field. Make sure to highlight the appropriate option.
- A description! Here are some essentials that Gladrags mods will be looking for when approving your thread:
- Clearly state what types of graphics you create (avatars, signatures, profile pictures, banners, wallpapers, etc.)
- Also clearly state whether you are taking requests, offering grab bags, or doing both
- Include the rules for your thread (how other members can make requests, claim graphics, etc.)
- Sharing examples of your work is encouraged! You may display up to five examples in the first post. If you’d like to include more, please place them under a photocut or spoiler tag:
[photocut=la dee da]images go here[/photocut]
images go here
- Please remember that any examples exceeding SS size requirements should always be placed under a tag
- An index! To help keep your thread organized and easy for everyone to admire your work, we suggest maintaining a running index linking to your pieces.

REQUESTING MEMBERS: First and foremost, all SS Board Rules apply, no exceptions. Please pay particular attention to the graphics section of the rules, as well as the rules about harassment, plagiarism and spamming.
In terms of requesting, there are a few other rules to keep in mind:- Please make sure you read the first post of each shop so that you know the rules of that graphic maker. They can differ between threads so this is particularly important.
- Please do not request the same thing across multiple shops. Not only is it incredibly rude, but it also makes the graphic designer feel as though you do not trust their judgement. Just don’t do it
- When including images, please make sure they are SS appropriate. This includes no swear words and nothing provocative
- Please be patient when requesting something. It may take some time for them to get to you, especially if they are popular and/or have other things going on
- However, if it has been over a month since your request has been given to you and/or since you've heard from the graphic maker, you're allowed to go elsewhere with the request
- Please do not edit and/or have someone else edit the work of another graphic maker
- Please make sure to credit the member who has made your graphic

If you have any questions or concerns, please make sure to contact one of your Gladrags mods and we’ll be happy to help you out. HAPPY CREATING! We cannot wait to see your talents!
