Aries followed her glance down the aisle, then nodded once, thoughtful. And maybe it was the lack of sleep or the unchanging routine, or simple the quiet pull of always wanting to help, but he couldn't just ignore the obvious for too long.

“My recommendation may sound like I’m overstepping...” he said, with a small smile. “But if your… friend is going through a hard time, reassurance doesn’t always have to come from enchanted glass.”

He hesitated again, longer this time, then exhaled softly as if deciding not to retreat. “There’s a café a block from here. Nothing fancy. Decent coffee. Quiet enough that no one asks questions.” His gaze flicked away briefly, then back. “If you’re not in a rush. And only if you want.”

“No pressure,” he added gently. “Just… an option.”
