Even though the gold and scarlet banners adorning the Great Hall should have had Kara pleased, the third year was officially in a sour mood and it had everything to do with Gobstones. After winning the Gobstones cup her first two terms, she was most definitely feeling the pain of their winning streak being broken.
The saving grace however was that tomorrow morning she would be on her way home to London. She had argued internally over and over on writing to her coach at the Jr Hippogriffs league and telling Ms Charlotte that she was not good enough she would not be returning. In the end she hadn't written to her coach but she was still sulky.
Perhaps she should have just skipped the feast all together, except now that she was a third year, on top of being on the Gobstones team, there was no way she'd be able to go undetected.
