Her gaze flicked from him to the book, now safely within the boundaries of his desk and her voice dropped to something more earnest. [B]“It’s nothing too grand,” she said lightly, though her voice softened at the edges. “Just… something I thought you might enjoy.”

“...it's one of my mom's favorite ones, it's from her collection” she added fondly, “..personally I don't get it, but you speak deeply, she speaks deeply - and it somehow... made sense”
