Clearly a friendship like theirs would continue onward through college and whatever else came after that for them both. Nothing should come in the way when magic was at their fingertips. Distance wouldn't matter when floo powder and apparation were possible. I'm a few more years for the latter one anyhow.
Each movement of the oars was precise. They had already gone further across the lake than Felt would've guessed if he didn't see it. "Tans? I don't know about that happening today but I'm all for relaxing for a bit." They could sit in silence or chat some more while the small row boat drifted along on its own.
