Character Name: Eric "Delko" Delektorsky
Character Origin: Crime Scene Investigation: Miami {CSI: Miami}

CSI: Miami is one of those shows whose cancellation I never got over. With so many cancelled shows making a comeback, it's one of those that I sincerely hope that can be revived. I got into watching this show when I was about fifteen years old as a coping mechanism after my dad died. I was instantly drawn to Eric because of his brilliance as a fingerprint analyst and a capable Crime Scene Investigator. Over the seasons, we were able to witness his good nature in the manner in which he cared for victims, survivors of crime, his friends and especially his sister. Eric suffered some drawbacks which led him to temporarily leave his work; when he returned, he was a little battered and bruised around the edges - which inspired me to use 'gaunt' as the prompt for him. Despite his challenges, he was able to focus on his job as best as he possibly could.

Aside from specialising in fingerprints, Eric is also his team's Underwater Recovery Expert. This is why the graphic sports a body of water. The quote is one Eric made to a coworker who gave him a difficult time about showing up to a crime scene late. Subsequently, that same coworker had something horrific happen to him resulting in Eric being the one to rush him to the hospital. This highlights his caring nature and readiness to put things behind him in order to help others.
