Kara probably regretted asking the question though because more than likely her question was going to be answered with a yes or no. But now that she considered it even more, the passage in the book would probably be ambiguous which made things all the more confusing for the third year. She wasn't drawn to this book other than the red colouring, Gryffindor red if you will. Closing her eyes she attempted to clear her mind, thinking of what she was wanting to know. Despite two years ago being a newbie to the game, Gobstones was somehow on her brain.
So her question, will we win again? was what came to mind.
She balanced the book on its spine, kind of wishing she'd chosen a thicker book, and it quickly fell open. Eyes still closed, she rested her finger in the middle of the page and opened her eyes "There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure" Well that was a weird thing to talk about when her question was about winning. Fear of failure would certainly get in her way.
As far as the final question that Professor Joshi posed, it was interesting one. "I think... it's kind of like people. On some regards the people we're most familiar with would give us more accurate interpretations of ourselves, because of their knowledge of us. They know of us, they can tell us the truth because we can handle it. But also, sometimes a fresh perspective might arrive at greater truths, so perhaps Mirabelle is onto something in saying that both can be useful."
And just like that, the lesson was over.
"Thank you, Professor for the very insightful lesson. Do you think we can maybe checkout our books for some more practice later and to also read it, if its one we haven't read before? The passage i landed on has me intrigued."
