Sardines ♥ // Nomsy, yo ❄ rolling in the ink ❄ It was more often than not that Anna found herself walking through Diagon Alley these days. Especially since, recently, she’d decided to pay for a month at the Leaky Cauldron. It made for easy evenings in the somewhat-fresh air of the street. Tonight she’d even brought along Ester, and the rat had been sleeping in a cosy ball in the hood of her sweater.
Said rat popped her little head up above Anna’s shoulder, though, as the two of them neared the unmistakable smell of the rubbish bins. Ester ate like a queen, of course, but the smells of old food and whatnot still obviously caught her attention. You couldn’t get over instinct. Anna knew that much.
Stopping near the rubbish bins, Anna untangled Ester from her sweater and held the animal in her hands. “You literally just ate. I thought you were sleeping.” Without knowing better, a passerby may assume she was talking to a human, given her stern tone and complete seriousness as she addressed the rodent.
