Aurora winced as a number of flying keys hit her, some of them scratching against her face. It was going to be a lot harder to get the Quaffle into the goalposts now, which she knew was the whole point, but that didn’t mean she had to be happy about it.
It was a relief when Professor Springer told them to start freezing the keys. That was what she had been wanting to do ever since they came, but wasn’t sure if that was allowed or not. Since the entire point of them in the first place was to make things more difficult.
Aurora pulled out her wand wincing again as even more keys were crashing into her. She was going to be covered in cuts all over her face and hands at this rate. Whatever. She got down to business freezing the keys as they came towards her. Though she was quite surprised to hear a girl state she didn’t have her wand on her. Hopefully her teammates would help her out because otherwise she was going to have an impossible time.
Continuing to freeze the keys as she went, Aurora was finally able to focus on doing her job as Chaser and going after the Quaffle. |
