It felt quite surreal if Emma was being honest. Three years as Hufflepuff Seeker, presuming she made the team again this term. She probably should have been more nervous than she was as one of the now senior members trying out for their house team. Blond hair pulled back in a ponytail, she spared a glance over at the stands to see Justus out there and blew a kiss, before turning to mount her broom and kick off into the skies.

There was a young gryffindor first year also in competition to find the snitch. And of course there was Zephyr, who had proven to be an exceptional seeker. But even if she didn't catch all the snitches, she was determined above all else. Which also meant an adaptation of the 'wronski feint', in attempt to confuse her opposing seekers.

Jasmine was no mind-reader, however she could definitely feel energies and could sense that Calliope was maybe disappointed with tryouts. Alas, while watching the young Slytherin aspiring chaser zig-zagging across the pitch in impressive spins and turns, she decided after some seemingly mild practice she would spice things up. Perhaps convince the old ghost to make an appearance, who seemed to like hiding lately - which made persuasions rather challenging.

She'd heard on what some of her predecessors had done to spice up tryouts and make things a challenge. The obstacle courses are always fun, perhaps on the last day. But for now, just a quick altering of the weather might be enough. Or perhaps adding some "extras" flying about.

With a flourish of her wand, she added some flying keys to the pitch - probably thousands - buzzing about each of the players in annoyance and definitely an added challenge to aspiring chasers and seekers.
