Zephyr had been floating on cloud nine ever since Ravenclaw's Quidditch Cup win, and ever since the final game, he hadn't hesitated to talk about it to anyone who would listen.

But he was just so happy! All the extra work he had put into practicing over the past year had paid off!! And the hard work of his team too, of course! But his efforts were the only thing he could really influence, so he was over the moon that he had been able to prove that Captain Misty putting him in the Seeker position had been a great move. And he was gonna get even better over the summer, he was sure of it!!!

He plopped himself into a spot at the table near others who were around his year rather than the older ones, happily chattering away until the Headmaster gave his speech.

And then it was time to eat! Yeah!

After completing his memory book entry, Antony had found an empty seat at the Ravenclaw table near his fellow seventh years Kritti and Kartik. He didn't intend to interrupt their conversation, but if they happened to look his way, he smiled. A genuine one, too. Summer was almost here after all.

Instead he looked around for Nikita, though he did not yet see her. Other friends he scanned the room for, like Billie and Natasha, would be at their house tables, and he considered popping over to visit, but it was likely he'd find one of them to sit with on the train tomorrow, so perhaps staying at his table was easier. It wasn't like he wouldn't try to hang out with them, and others, over the summer anyway.

It was a relief when the speech came and brought the appearance of the food. One step closer to summer. One step closer, unfortunately, to university. But, fortunately, also one step closer to seeing Maebry again.

There was a bright side to everything, he supposed.
