Damolces found an empty cubicle and sidled into it. He put down his rucksack and a medium-sized crate (which was full of pictures) on the desk. He took a moment to look around and size up his new "office". It wasn't very spacious. But there was a desk, several drawers, and even a few shelves. It was more than adequate for his needs.
He began to unpack, placing his dark detectors on the shelves and the pictures on his desk. He placed several bottles of ink and about a dozen rolls of parchment in the drawers.
He then put up a calendar on the wall of the cubicle, after making sure it was folded to the correct month. He then sat down in his desk chair. He began to take several files and around 50 or so newspaper clippings out of his back pack. He sorted them and then carefully put each in a hanging file folder the filing cabinet.
Once he was more or less unpacked, Damocles poked his head over the cubicle wall into the cubicle next to his. "Hello", he said to the witch and wizard who were in there chatting casually. "I'm Damocles and I'm a brand new Hit Wizard. How are you?"
