Seated at one of the desks, Apollo was focused on finishing some homework, his quill steadily writing out the words for the assigned essay. He was nearly done, he thought, just a couple more sentences to conclude it, and so his attention was entirely taken up by that - until he felt something grip his ankles.

And then a girl screamed.

And a chair was smashed. Merlin's socks, what- why were these vines so...?!

Instinctively, Apollo flicked his wrist and his wand was in his head. Thank Merlin the vines hadn't restricted his hands.

"Incendio!" He aimed for the vines grabbing the girl (Ariadne), aiming for a section just below her feet, so that hopefully the spell wouldn't envelop her feet if it succeeded.
