 Xerxes Cadwallader- Hufflepuff
Xerxes thought about his teacher's question. He then raised his hand and said, "My favorite thing is my wand. It is my constant companion in the magical world and has never let me down. As for why too much of it could be a bad thing.....I suppose a person could become too dependent on magic and not learn useful skills that would come in handy if ever they found themselves without it for a time. We never plan on losing our wand, but one never knows what could happen."
Xerxes thought about how terrible it would be to lose his wand. He would kind of be lost without it. He couldn't really cook for himself or survive in the Muggle world. But after all, he was only 11 and therefore had plenty of time to learn both magic and life skills too. He wasn't overly worried about it, but still made a mental note to pay more attention in Muggle Studies.
