Born as a Tuareg (Berber people with a traditionally nomadic pastoralist lifestyle -- Algeria, Mali, Niger, Libya); father is a wizard hiding amongst them (Mo didn't know in his early youth that he had magical blood running through his veins); Mo's father disappears when he is 5 (Mo later learns that his father was arrested for smuggling dragon eggs and other crimes); odd things begin to happen when Mo turns 7 ... his people think he is some sort of prophet or savior sent from Allah; Dream Messenger token received
Goes to Uagadou (his first real home); phenomenal student (especially with potions, transfiguration, and alchemy); takes Animagus form: serval; Wizarding Schools Potions Championship winner; International Alchemical Conference gold medal
Goes to Cairo WU; hired at Egyptian Centre for Alchemical Studies; meets and marries Gamila; feels that something is missing from his work at the ECAS and decides that his calling is to teach/share his knowledge and skill with young minds; goes back to WU for Wiz Ed degree; teaches at Uagadou; publishes book Alchemy for Trolls; goes on a summer safari with Gamila (who dies during a erumpent stampede)
Puts everything toward his teaching career; teaches forever and is known for being one of the best professors worldwide; becomes Uagadou headmaster; school's reputation is outstanding -- best staff in all of Africa, high OWL/NEWT scores overall, nation-wide school event ... a few minor setbacks due to a handful of students (though not #cray like Hogwarts, lol); joins ICW as one of the African assemblymen while Uagadou headmaster; Hogwarts headmaster for 1 term as the Int'l Confederation of Wizards is having the heads swap schools to broaden their administrative perspectives
