JT Forsfelle [Slytherin, Chaser] Swedishfish Girl! ❄ Page-Turning Seamstress ❄ Jess's Soul Sister! Sweetest Swede! JT entered the pitch, carrying his broom of choice close to his chest, being glad for the clear sky, and gentle breeze. He had a feeling that Professor Springer had chosen this day because she knew that the obstacle course would be difficult enoough for them all to master. JT also hoped that Calliope wasn't still angry with him so that she'd try to do something against him in the air.
After a respectful wave in greeting to Professor Springer once they were given the go ahead, JT mounted his broom, and kicked off the ground without effort aiming for the hoops first. The hoops varied some moving unpredicatably and some stationary he saw from afar as other peers tacled them. JT adjusted his grip on his broom, and pulled on his goggles to see better as he leaned forward over his broom, and with a burst of speed dove for the first hoop he thought was stationary as it was his turn. When he neared the first hoop it started to move, but JT was ready for that, and flew with a timed move through the hoop. Through the next two hoops he had to bank some and then dive and soar upwards as he passed through them in quick succession. One obstacle down, next up the slalom poles.
JT couldn't help, but notice a little distractedly in mid air that most of the fliers in the air were girls. He suddenly felt outnumbered, but that only made him more determined to impress his new flying instructor. She wouldn't just select girl's would she?
Shaking his head to focus on the next task JT flew down to begin weaving in and out of the slalom poles with calm, and practiced movements of his broom. Next up the course narrowed itself with poles now at different heights and distances. Blocking out the feeling of the wind in his hair or the cheers from the stands JT focused solely on the poles ducking the first, soaring up over the next, and then shifting his weight on his broom as he banked for the sharp, and hard s-curve before leveling out to take a quick breath before flying past the final pole.
JT stopped to hover in the air to take in the sight of the over, and under bars decidng how to best tackle them. He didn't want to get smacked in the face by a bar. Ready he leveled out, and then with a burst of speed he flew over the first bar grabbing the incoming quaffle with ease before tossing it back to the bar he had just passed. Next he slipped into a Sloth grip roll, dropping to hang upside-down below his broom for several heartbeats as he slipped under the second bar with some difficulty, but with good room to spare. JT caught the incoming quaffle one handedly still hanging upside down. He then with a burst of strength pulled himself upright again on his broom and thanking the quidditch gods in the same motion for not falling off his broom. JT really hated the sloth grip roll he managed to think before starting a steep vertical climb upwards toward the next bar throwing the quaffle over his left shoulder back to the second bar with if he had to grade it himself awesome presicion.
When he soared over bar number 3 JT was quickly forced to level himself out because of gravity, and a sudden gush of wind choking down on a whoop. He caught the next quaffle with some difficulty since he was preoccupied with choking. He tossed the quaffle back to the 3rd bar whilst steering his broom into a horizontal roll, flattening himself low over the broom catching a new quaffle mid-flight tugging it tightly against his chest as he passed under the fourth bar and final bar before tossing the quaffle back under the bar watching as it was caught by another flier.
JT then flew off to complete the course by touching his brooms tail twigs on the touchplate being glad for his successful tryout.
