Rose stood at the bowling alley counter in a summery dress covered all over in sunflowers, and black sandals as she waited for Kartik to arrive. It was their second date so she had wanted to look pretty for him even though she was going to trade her sandals for a pair of bowling shoes in the next couple of minutes or so. Would her dress make it harder to bowl? Only time would tell. She was excited, happy and a little nervous for their second date. Hopefully there'd be no rat targets to bowl down for Kartik's sake.
To have gotten good marks on her owls made this day even better.
