The shimmering ceiling was something Rose thought she'd miss when it became her time in 2 years to graduate from Hogwarts too.
What was she going to miss? Nadia bit the inside of her cheek as she tried to find the right answer. Social interactions like Beuden," a brief glance at her fellow seventh year before back at Rose. "Maybe the familiar..." she remarked at first, adding further explanation. "As ready as I feel for the next great adventure, it's weird to be letting go of the comforts of Hogwarts." The cozy fires of the common room...the friendly creatures under her aunt's care...the familiar pitch. SPOILER!!: Diego Quote:

Well, not just because they were a Sevvie and older, but from him working summers with his Papa. "Hi, are you sad about leaving us? Don't be! You got a good future ahead of you!" His eyes twinkled as he felt the power in his voice. "My Papa.. I mean... well, you know who he is. I'm sure he'd have a lot of good things to tell you too!"
He wasn't the only sevvie Diego would be talking to as Nadia addressed his question. "Yeah? Well, it's a good thing we won now. Are you going to play professionally now that you're graduating?" He had a lot of questions. He was a curious little bloke. "Mhmm...a great memory to round out the years for sure," she agreed with a smile. As for her post graduating plans, her expression slipped into a slightly playful smirk as she thought on things. "Maybe," was all she remarked. The details of the situation weren't entirely set in stone and Nadia certainly didn't want to jinx anything. Thankfully the headmaster and his speech came to spare her at least temporarily, explaining further. SPOILER!!: HoH Quote:

"Just came here to quickly say thank you for all the work and effort you did this year. Tonight just proved that nothing is impossible and even when down on our luck, we can rise as large as our lion's roar." Excuse the metaphor. Ahem.
"Anyway, congratulations. I'm proud of you all. To those graduating, some of you will be joining the workforce immediately, some playing professionally or awaiting your Scout's confirmation, others not quite sure on what the future entails... But that's okay. You all have a voice and a sound mind to consider before making your move. I'm an owl away for any more advice, career-wise or not." And that was it for the graduates. "To the rest of you returning next year, keep it up, expect some grand things next term. So, for now, enjoy your meal and a safe trip back." He gave any who may have a question time to ask before he returned to the staff table.
And even as the feast officially began with the end of the headmaster's speech, it wasn't long before the table was joined by another august personage of the house. Nadia's attention went straight to Professor Feirgrund as he began his own words of wisdom and congratulations. So much for the seventh year girl not getting caught up in the feels even more, Nadia taking a deep breath to ground herself. "Thank you, Professor," she remarked with a smile in return before he left.
