After a long hiatus from posting any of my creative endeavors, I’m excited to share this coloring page! Life’s been a bit of a journey recently, especially after two surgeries on my left elbow in November (but hey, I got to bring home a bit of my bone as a souvenir?). During my recovery, I struggled with feeling low—not being able to finish my Inktober sketchbook on time the way I had intended was disappointing, and in the wake of surgery and the complete lack of mobility I felt a bit lost when it came to creativity. But I’m still planning to return to that project and just need to build my confidence up again!

Cue stumbling upon the bold and easy coloring book trend on TikTok and it sparking something in me. There are hundreds of this style of coloring book out there and I cannot recommend them enough - seriously, there is a coloring book out there for everyone's taste including crime scenes (because I know there is more than one person out there that watches or listens to 'true crime' to unwind). And if you are seeing this, this is your sign to go out there and COLOR! There are plenty of free coloring printables out there including some from this same creator!

I've completed a few pages in this book already and was going to wait until I finished this latest page before sharing it here on SS, but art and creativity aren't just about sharing completed works—works in progress deserve to be celebrated too! So, here I am, with a perspectives and a renewed creative energy, sharing this spring beach coloring page with warm pastels. It feels good to embrace the process even if it is hard to trust it sometimes—I'm looking specifically at you, vibrant pink petals that almost feel NEON to me and too bright for the rest of the aesthetic.

And...maybe sometime...you all can help challenge me to a limit color challenge by picking some colors for me? And yes, Levi Ackerman IS protecting The Wall of markers.
