Last thing I would need is my seeker position jeopardized because i failed to pass enough exams." Who knew when she'd become so quidditch focused? Just two years ago she'd never have imagined it although the thought had crossed her mind before. That was about one of the few traits she shared with her father.

Justus didn't have to think too often about his own qualities. His parents, aka aunt and uncle had more years in his life to influence him. The quiet spell from his Ravenclaw Uncle and straight to the point from his Slytherin Aunt. Ravenclaws tend to search for their own answers, in traditional and non-traditional ways. That was the way of life, wasn't it? Not being limited to opportunities. Although, he didn't want to connect that with this current situation. To put it simply, he liked to know things. He had mysteries to solve and the one mystery he cared to know right now, would she be his girlfriend? The only girlfriend, seeing as Kritti left that spot open in his heart some time ago and he wasn't really searching to fill that spot. Things just... fell into place when he stopped focusing on himself.

Justus waited on the rejection, but it didn't arrive. At least, not with him, but one of his particular favorite areas. "No forest? Okay.. I've been losing interest in trying to have a picnic in there anyway." The forest back home were much safer, and peaceful, he recognized. While he probably won't ever stop venturing in the Forbidden Forest, he won't convince someone to join him, unless they offered. Studying, Quidditch. "Well... I agree. We can't let that affect your playing." A hint of a smile emerged. "So.. I'm going to assume we're dating now, then, since I have no objections to your conditions." Normally, things were sealed with a kiss, but Justus for once wasn't thinking immediately of his own desires. Emma's concerns were top priority and it was her he'd happily let take the lead.

For the rest of their date here, the signs were on the up for them both.
