Being known so well by Rea was good thing. It meant that most times he didn't have to explain why he did or didn't do certain things. But catching her off guard at times was what made things interesting. Like right now. The amount of water being splashed his way wasn't all that much but it was enough to make him laugh.
And laugh he did when the girlfriend went toppling over into the water. Now that he had nothing to do with but it worked out perfectly for him anyhow. "I win?" Christopher declared, grinning widely. "Are you alright?" He was sure that she was but best to be safe. He held a hand out for her to take so he could pull her back onto her feet.
