Keeper-Gryffindor Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - ❄ Lunar Library Lurker ❄ - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror
It was Nadia’s turn to raise an eyebrow at the remark returned to her offer, not necessarily just because of the words, but the way they sounded. Alright, so said seasoned player was going to see if she could make this interesting…while not getting too full of herself. Especially as another Slytherin flew up near them as she absently brushed some falling snow away seemingly making it four snake chasers to one lion keeper, a non-traditional advantage against her. Bring it on!
She nearly chuckled at the warning, watching the pull back and release and trying to anticipate where the quaffle was headed. Leaning into her broom’s handle she took off to her left, managing to block the ball’s path with relative ease before flying downward slightly and grabbing hold of it to throw back into play amongst the others. But as her previous opponent caught another quaffle from a housemate’s pass, Nadia watched as Calliope sped closer to try again. The chaser turned keeper adjusting her position in the freezing air so she better defended all three snow-dusted hoops to try not allow any big obvious openings to shoot for.
The quaffle was thrown…at another Slytherin…and Nadia turned her attention to await the next move. Except the movement she caught out of the corner of her gaze brought her up short. Calliope had apparently been knocked or slipped from her seat. The seventh year was caught on what to do, flying forward a couple of feet as if moving to help though there were others closer. And then the young snake had righted herself, only to drift back down to the ground as Nadia sat curious as to what happened. At least she had landed safely as the Gryffindor shook her head and got her focus back onto the try-outs.
