Blinking several times Ari shook her head at Tiff and then Johnny as both siblings suddenly sat around her on the floor. "I u think a very large book struck me in the head. I see two Tiffies..." she mumbled as she focused on Johnny's face. "Johnny why do you have two noses?" Ari queried confused. Quote:

But when the brother threw himself on the ground on Ari's other side, all the feelings of sadness surged within.
As far as his question, she looked from one to the other and back to Ari, with genuine concern as her sister was stating she was seeing double. "I was just coming around the corner to join Ari here but that was when I saw it before it was too late...." she leaned over to pull the book toward them that was lying open. "It seems that this book is needed," she grinned sheepishly when she saw the title - The Dark Forces: A guide to Self-Protection. And held it up for the sibs to see. "But first, I think we need to get you something cold to drink." Which of course she was unprepared for and did not have any cold beverages with her, but the Leaky Cauldron wasn't that far? Unless Johnny had something? "Think you can walk or do you need us for a crutch?" It was probably a dumb question if she was seeing double now that Tiffany considered the words that emitted from her mouth.
Johnny would welcome the letters, Ari! He might have friends and all at Beauxbatons but they could never replace his sisters. Oh, and he was going to make sure he replied to those letters in a timely manner even if it were a crude drawing of him zooming around on his broomstick. “Well, that’s one way to find a book,’’ he said, wrinkling his nose as he glanced at the offending tome Tiff had her attention on. The boy now peered at Ari with a whole bunch of concern. “We have no other sister that looks like Tiffy,’’ he remarked gravely. “And I have one nose but I guess you’re seeing four nostrils then?” For fun, Johnny stuck his nose close to Ari’s face briefly. “Tiffy’s right, Ari. You need something cold. Maybe an ice compress? Or maybe we should get mum and dad for help?” Johnny scrambled to his feet. “We’ll help you walk if you need us to. I promise I’ll try not to tickle you.” |
