How was it that the time had come for Evan to graduate? Jude had one more year to go so that meant that Evan would be out exploring the world on his own before him.
“Got you something!” Jude announced, deciding that it would be okay to interrupt Evan’s NEWT studies for a minute.
“Hmm? What’s that?” Evan asked curiously.
“A turtle dove figurine! I’ll have one, you can have this one, as a reminder we’ll be best friends even after you graduate.”
“Wow. That’s very thoughtful, Jude! Thanks a lot! I promise I’ll keep it safe.”
“You’re always welcome.”
