It seemed like a good sign that Solomon hadn't told him to sit somewhere else or anything. And at least Solomon and Rowan had some level of skill in drawing, even if Rowan only credited herself with stick figures. That was still probably better than Ezra's drawing ability, which was nonexistent. Or maybe Solomon was artistic enough to carry them both to victory.

Ezra was about to answer Rowan's question about his own drawing skills, but the professor was beginning the lesson, so he instead simply shook his head with a goofy sort of grimace, hopefully conveying the idea of 'alas, I am tragically terrible at drawing' to them both.

He then also noticed Anna, who strangely hadn't come to sit with them and looked painfully tired. Was she okay? He wanted to ask, but the lesson had fully begun by that point, so he tried to focus on that for now.
