They had simply been content to go through life alone. “Not to worry,’’ the DADA professor spoke up with a slight smirk. “I’ll do that should the need arise, but you’re right when you say Ary keeps her grounded. I’ve seen the way he nudges her back into focusing when she needs to. I think there’s no better person to assist Bryony during those times than him.”

This was a rather lively conversation and Dhruv was thoroughly enjoying it. “To each their own, right?” They threw Hady a wink before chuckling. “Clearly! Just look at them attack their food.” The way those Puffskeins gobbled it up and their body language told Dhruv how delicious they found it. It was at that moment that the professor checked their watch. The morning certainly was moving along! After a moment, they said, “I have to make a move, Hady. Bubbles seems to be finished eating so I’ll take her out to the grounds with me.” They held out a hand to allow the little creature to hop on, which it did. “I’ll be back in an hour or so.’’
