Ary had made an amusing face at Bry in reply to her sticking out her tongue at him. How could he not love her? She was very important to him, after all; even before she had come to accept his complicated feelings for her and Drake. It was certainly a good thing that the two were side by side during the travel for they ended up steadying each other. “Yeah, I am,’’ Ary replied, meeting her gaze. “Are you?”
Oh yeah! Their glasses! “You have your glasses, right?” Ary should have checked that Bry had hers before they left but the question had slipped his mind. Regarding the other information Gert had given them, he stuck it in his brain. Without a doubt he would want to see the eclipse up close so he’d be taking some time with one of the telescopes.
“It’s too bad we don't have our phones,’’ Ary said to Bry. “We could have taken some pictures of all of this.” He really, really liked the layout of the place. |
