Jan felt like he was in a table court, with how the words were getting tossed over each other. As with earlier, the fourteen-year old didn't feel so scared around him anymore. "Erm..I believe Drake asked if you do it for fun, not only for good grades." He said simply. "We have our study groups to help with grades besides just reading the books... It sounds like you could use more fun than sitting on the bed there all grumpy." His mum would've prescribed him a good nap, even at his age which made him smile. If one knew Jan, they could see the intention by the smile, "It sounds like you could use a bubble bath after Ary," Before adding, "Not that you stink or anything, just good for relaxing and having solitude."
Jan chuckled at the mention of payback, "No way, Drake! You can always ask me anything without a cost." Friends did things just because. As for the Professor's interference. He couldn't help smirking at what Ary said. "It's true, Professor Feirgrund does timely updates.. but I think he might give me some space if things go the way I hope." There was some plotting he and Ary had to do. "It's not so bad, he does give me some of the leftover prizes from his classes." Spoiler alert on where he got their Christmas and Birthday gifts from, ahem. Ary was wanting to take a bath now, "Oh, here you go. It's right here." Jan reached into his drawer and then tossed the vial over to Ary. "You only need to put a drop so that will last you a good while. I have plenty to spare." Caring was sharing, after all.
Jan shrugged at Elias, "If you say so." If Elias wanted to be the cool guy, he had to go about it a different way from Jan's point of view. Ary did have a nice voice and he was happy to hear him talk more. The door then opened. "Hi Wade... are you okay?" He noticed the damage on him. "Erm, Elias was trying to be helpful and get Ary to talk more by talking about kneazles." In a brute way. "Did something attack you?" Would they have to get Professor Paton or even his godfather over here?
