Slowly, his lips curled into an amused smile. “Mate, I didn’t know you thought my voice was nice,’’ he shot at Elias in a somewhat sarcastic tone. In a flirtatiously friendly manner, he added to Jan, “For you, I’ll speak a lot more.” And with that, the laughter he had been holding back escaped. Listen, Jan was super hilarious when he wanted to be!

“I dunno. Ask Elias.” Also, hi, Wade! Wade hadn’t spoken much to him either but at least the other Slytherin didn’t give off unfriendly vibes. Speaking of people who did not give off unfriendly vibes… Ary was all ears for Drake’s ideas. It went without saying that he would never make fun of those. “There’s the Animal Whisperer Potion which dad told me about. We can get you a batch so you can try on the Griffs and Dragons if you want. But something for plants? Sorry, buddy. I don’t know of any."
