HeadGirlMC | Treddie & Trixiver <3 | Copy Girl | Katie's Ickle Minion | I love YOU more Look, the situation might have been a little different now but that didn’t mean that Angus hadn’t been Archie’s best friend since first year and knowing the little ways to get a reaction out of the other was second nature. He would stop smirking.. eventually.
Angus wasn’t quite so much of a soft touch but he was working on building a relationship with the kids that meant he was letting her get away with it too. It wasn’t that hard to do considering how laid back he was, he’d sort of assimilated himself as their dad’s ’cool boyfriend’. “I’ve always seen you as a cat person..” he pondered, taking a sip of his own drink. “Maybe it’s just because you ARE more like a cat.” No explanation necessary there and really it was a compliment depending on which way you looked at it. “If you were really concerned about your weight, you could always come to the studio with me. I’ll coach it right out of you.” Honestly though, Archie was perfect the way he was. “Kinda did.” Maybe not specifically but the Lions likely wouldn’t see it that way. As amusing as the thought of telling Matty was, he didn’t want to be in the firing line. “She’d get Allie involved and then you’d have two fiery Gryffindors after you and I unfortunately did not train to be a Healer” he snorted.
A naturally miserable face. Not miserable.. judgemental. That air of being unapproachable and yet in Angus’s opinion, once you got to know him, Archie was a laugh to be around. “Gotta learn to smile more, mate.” he teased. The impression of Katrina was spot on, that woman was sunshine and diamonds and positivity all wrapped up in a (never aging) brunette. “It’s all the cake. It’s impossible not to be happy when she is around.” Who DIDN’T smile when a large slice of Victoria sponge was placed in front of you? “It’s not your thing.” He couldn’t describe why but performing for strangers was so much easier than dancing for those that he knew well. “It’s not about trust. You know I trust you.” He had taken a step back from the performance side and was settling into teaching and choreographing now.
