Hogwarts RPG Name: Vera Brinley Thanatos Gryffindor Seventh Year Hogwarts RPG Name: Mandrake Beery Slytherin Third Year | Anashti l Brat Pack l Sally & Dr. Finklestein Scene III Fall 2113. Tam starts to put a name to her own feelings, and thinks maybe it's worth telling them to Dy. One of the benefits of being an introvert was Tamara had a lot of time with her thoughts, time to dissect and consider and mull them over a million times before she began to put names and feelings to what was constantly running through her mind. And of things that were constantly running through her mind? Dynah seemed to be the top of that list the most often. Which caused Tam to consider why was it that her best friend was always so forefront in her mind?
At first Tam assumed it was just because Dynah was her first friend. Her best friend. But as she started to form other friendships, spend time with other people... it was still never the same. Even Beaudan, who despite being her opposite in many ways, they got on well. But she never thought about him the way she thought about Dy.
And then... she saw some flyers about a kissing game. And while she was not an invitee, the first thought she had was what if Dynah was? And the whole idea had made her feeling properly miserable which led her to further ruminate until she could come to only one conclusion... Dynah Atreyu-Rehman was not just her best friend. But Tamara fully had a crush. It was why she always liked to be around her, it was why she found excuses to touch her or hold hands. How in the world had she not realized before?
This also then left her with the question.... did she TELL Dy? She considered not at first, because what if it made their friendship awkward? But then she realized she didn't want to be the type of friend that kept things from the other. So... it was better to say it. And if she was rejected, she could move on and they could continue to BE friends because there was no secrets. Right? It seemed foolproof in Tam's head. So with the decision made, she did her best to ignore all her nerves leading up to their next scheduled hang out.
Which... was today, and she was no longer doing as well hiding it. Tam's hands kept fisting in her scarf, just to give them something to do to keep occupied, as she walked down to the pumpkin patch where they had talked about doing some music practice that afternoon. It was fine, this would be fine right? She just... had to say the things and then hope by the end of the day they'd still be friends. Right? Reaching the patch, Tam leaned gently against one of the larger pumpkins while she waited for Dy to arrive as well.
